We’re taking our popular Mature Dance class outdoors to celebrate the verve and energy of spring. You’ll learn several short dance routines in different styles that will get your heart rate up and feel good endorphins flowing. Designed specifically for people over 50, this class will show you that it’s never too late to start or return to dance and enjoy the benefits of improved balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, focus, mindfulness, memory, and happiness.
Lead by Move Through Life founder, Jo McDonald, you’ll discover that dance is a great way to move to music, and connect with other people who love to dance. The routines are based on the kind of things we do in our Mature Dance classes, which combine dance styles like jazz, contemporary, Latin, and folk dance to get in tune with your body, exercise your mind, and have a good time.
