What type of dance is it?
Our Mature Dance classes are a blend of different dance styles, mostly the kind of movements you can do by yourself (so you don’t need a partner), but at times there may be a partner or small group exercise.
The class begins with a warmup section of simple movements to wake up your muscles, joints and mind. The middle section of the class consists of a series of short sequences designed to loosen up or strengthen different parts of your body, to learn specific skills, to improve coordination, balance, concentration, and memory. These sequences may include upper body movements, arm swings, foot patterns, simple turns, and travelling sequences. Then these movements may be combined to create a dance routine that may be built over a number of weeks. Finally the class ends with a cool down and simple stretch.
All movements and sequences can be tailored to suit different physical abilities, fitness levels, and dance experience.
How much does it cost?
You can pay for our classes by taking out a membership
(choose from bronze, silver, gold or platinum, depending on how often you want to come to class).
All memberships run for 12 months, but they are NO LOCK-IN. You can cancel at anytime by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
